Gloria Zucchi

Gloria Zucchi obtained her Master’s degree in Biotechnology for the Bioeconomy with honors at the University of Milan in October 2025. For her master’s thesis, she carried out a research internship at the University of Crete, where she focused on the biochemical characterization of Baeyer-Villiger monooxygenases, with particular attention to their catalytic properties and potential biotechnological applications.

Gloria is currently a PhD student in the Industrial PhD programme “Intersectoral Innovation: Dottorato Intersettoriale per l’Innovazione” (XLI Cycle), within the research line “Streamlining Bioactive Compound Synthesis Through Enzymatic Cascades”, supervised by Prof. Martina Letizia Contente.
