Postdoctoral Researcher
Tommaso Bellesia obtained his master’s degree in Food Science and Technology at the University of Milan in 2021, with a thesis focused on the theoretical approach of the selection of probiotic strains of S. Cerevisiae for beer production.
He obtained his Ph.D. in Food Systems in March 2025 with a thesis on the development of a new cellulose packaging materials for the food industry, under the supervision of Prof. Stefano Farris and partly funded by Fedrigoni Group.
In April 2025, he won a research grant supervised by Professor Dallavalle, within the project titled “Valorization of natural compounds in the agri-food sector”.
