Cecilia Pinna obtained her Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology with honors at the University of Milan in March 2019.
In July 2019 she won a research fellowship for promising graduates founded by Olon S.p.a., pursuing her research activity on flow chemistry applications at the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences of the University of Milan.
She obtained her PhD in Chemistry in June 2024, with a thesis concerning the design and synthesis of nature-derived compounds as potential antimicrobial agents under the supervsion of Prof. Pinto.
Cecilia is currently enrolled at the Department of Food, Environmental and Nutritional Sciences of the University of Milan as a post-doctoral researcher. Her research activity is focused on novel broad-spectrum antibacterial agents.
