Denise Dozio

Denise obtained her master´s degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology cum laude at the University of Milan in September 2022. For her master´s thesis she did an internship in the Department of Pharmaceutical Science focused on the design and synthesis of multitarget Acivicin derivatives for the treatment of Neglected Tropical Diseases.

She is currently enrolled as PhD student in Food Systems (XXXVIII cycle) at the Department of Food, Environmental, and Nutritional Sciences (DeFENs) at the University of Milan under the supervision of Prof. Dallavalle.

Her research activities are focused on the design, synthesis and optimization of nature and nature-derived molecules endowed with potential antimicrobial activity to be employed in the field of crop protection.
