Matteo and Giulia, our second year Ph.D. students in Food Systems, attended the Winter School on Green Chemical Synthesis for Circular Economy organized by the Department of Chemical Sciences of the University of Padua, in collaboration with the University of Bath and the Monash University of Melbourne, sponsored by Società Chimica Italiana.
Giulia had the opportunity to present her preliminary results with a flash presentation titled “Chemo-enzymatic synthesis of bioactive stilbenoids derived from agri-food residues as potential antimicrobials”.
