“Nature-inspired biphenyls and diphenyl ethers: design, synthesis and biological evaluation.”
In this new paper published on ACS Omega two different synthetic strategies have been employed for the synthesis of interesting natural scaffolds, biphenyls and diphenyl ethers. These backbones are present in different phytoalexins and antifungal compounds. The antimicrobial activity was then evaluated considering both antifungal and antimicrobial properties.
